The TEN Campaign
The TEN Campaign is an awareness to action movement for the cause of resettled refugees in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
TEN is a grassroots effort to INFORM, INSPIRE, and INVOLVE our local community to help resettled refugees reclaim the decade of refugee loss.
TEN represents the number of years many refuges live in a refugee camp after fleeing their homeland for their lives. This decade is one of extraordinary loss including loss of home, livelihood, educational process, and often, dignity and even hope.
The TEN Campaign seeks to:
INFORM... Our Fort Wayne community about resettled refugees and the Refugee Decade.
INSPIRE... Our Fort Wayne community by sharing the true stories of former refugees among us, and their successful integration into our community.
INVOLVE... Our Fort Wayne community in making a difference through learning, giving, advocacy and volunteering.
